Beginner Classes

Beginner classes assume students know nothing about knitting or crochet. By the end of the class you will have been exposed to the skills necessary to complete a simple knitting or crochet project.

Technique Classes

Technique classes are one-meeting classes that focus on one specific technique or skill. They might include knitting refreshers, converting to continental knitting, fixing knitting mistakes, or finishing knit projects.

Advanced Beginner and Up Project Classes

Advanced Beginner classes are for the knitter who is comfortable knitting and purling or a crocheter who is comfortable with the chain, single crochet, and double crochet stitches. These classes are designed to expand your skills to include increasing/decreasing, possibly cables, knitting/crocheting in the round, and following a pattern.

Intermediate Project Classes

Intermediate classes are for the knitter who is ready to take it up a notch. These classes usually include making socks, mitts/mittens, Fair Isle knitting, reading charts, and keeping up with many techniques at the same time. For crocheters, these classes may include post stitches, following charts, shaping, and unusual stitches not used in everyday crochet.

Special Workshops

Our special workshops are designed to be a thorough, in-depth training on one particular technique or skill. These workshops can either be all on one day or spread out over weeks, depending on the topic.
